OtterBox Hardline series of certified industrial

Jan 08, 2024

iPadOS 17 has been unveiled as a major software upgrade that brings system-wide, fully editable, shareable and syncable PDFs in addition to more active, interactive widgets; new, more optimized lock-screens and support for the Health app to eligible Apple devices. These features may make more clients want to use them in their workplaces - then again, they might still be reluctant if their businesses are of a heavy industry or construction nature.

OtterBox claims to be able to solve these potential problems with its new Hardline series. It has debuted with a new case for the 5th-gen iPad Air - albeit one with "device integration" that converts the tablet into a rugged device compatible with the accessory line's Hardline Charging Station, which comes with up to 4 Qi wireless charging "bays" for routine fleet docking and power-ups.

The Hardline case is also touted as the first to turn the iPad Air into a device certified to withstand pretty much every occupational danger going, including extreme temperatures (up to and including exposure to flame); electrostatic discharge; chemical hazards such as exposure to acid; drops and UV exposure.

Furthermore, they are certified for this kind of durability by United Laboratories (for North America) and IECEx/ATEX (for the rest of the world) for the ultimate "peace of mind about the products' safety". Information about the Hardline Series' availability is accessible from otterbox.com/industrial.
