Disney Dreamlight Valley has hundreds of decorative items that players can collect. These items can either be purchased with gold at Scrooge McDuck's shop or they can be crafted by the player once they obtain the recipe for it. The Valley is a very customizable place, this allows players to take their creativity to another level and make the Valley feel like their own.

Since gardening is such a big part of Disney Dreamlight Valley, a trellis is a great addition to one's backyard or even a farm. This guide will talk about the trellis item and how to craft it.
Before crafting a trellis, it's necessary to acquire its recipe. Some recipes can be unlocked at random as the player goes about their day doing all of the available activities in the Valley. However, the trellis is a recipe that's unlocked through main story progression. To get the trellis crafting recipe, the player has to complete the Shy Little Robot quest, the quest where they have to bring Wall-E back to the Valley.
Once Wall-E's gotten back to the Valley and settled into his new home, a new quest can be started, the Village Project: The Garden quest. There is an abandoned garden near Merlin's house and the small robot would like to renovate it. This is a great addition to the village since aesthetically it's much more pleasing than an abandoned garden and Wall-E will also plant seeds in his free time that the player can harvest later on.
For the garden to be restored, the player will have to give Wall-E five sugarcane seeds, five wheat seeds, a trellis, and three burlap bags. This is precisely when Wall-E will hand out the trellis crafting recipe.
Now, it's time to get crafting. Crafting a trellis is simple since its materials can be found pretty easily in the early game. These are the necessary ingredients to craft a trellis in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
Softwood is usually found on the grass near trees, it looks just like branches that have small fallen on the ground. Soil can be dug up using the Royal Shovel - simply make holes in the grass at random and soil will pop out from time to time. White and Pink Falling Penstemons can be found in the Plaza, north of Peaceful Meadow where the garden is.
Once all of these materials have been obtained, the player has to approach a crafting table, select the trellis recipe, and craft away.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
